The Westpac Building Story

We learned about this in our today's Construction Management class - the last class of the sem

Location: Westpac Building, Currie St. Adelaide.

Long time ago, this piece of extra large pre-casted concrete beam was lifted up there by using the power of 4 cranes (simultaneously), in which the surrounding (present at that time) buildings were being obstacles for cranes to work. The construction team did a very good job regardless the difficulties that happened.
